This is how you can Embody Your Confidence The Source Stance and give your body a new command for certainty.

Reframing What Confidence Truly Is
First, let’s reframe what confidence really means. True confidence is not arrogance, loudness, or a personality trait you either have or you don’t. From an energetic and biological perspective, confidence is the frequency of certainty. It’s the physical posture of your future self. In fact, it is the natural state of an aligned, open, and regulated nervous system.
The Physical Posture of Self-Doubt
A lack of confidence is not a flaw; it’s a program. It is an imprint of doubt or fear that is physically stored in your body, and it has a very specific posture. That posture is contraction. It manifests as hunched shoulders, a caved-in chest, a tight jaw, and shallow breathing. This is the physical expression of the “I am not enough” program.
You cannot think your way out of that program. You must embody your way out. You have to give your body a new command.
A Somatic Practice to Embody Your Confidence: The Source Stance
This practice is that new command. It is a somatic body key that we call the Source Stance. You can do this practice either sitting or standing, so let’s try it together right now. We will use this body key to reestablish clear communication with your body and install a new program of confidence.
- Step One: The Center
Wherever you are, begin by feeling your feet firmly on the floor. Get grounded. Now, take one hand and place it on your solar plexus, the soft spot right between your ribs. This is your third chakra, your center of “I am” and personal power. Simply place your hand there and breathe deeply into it, feeling that center. - Step Two: Open Your Heart
Next, we will physically command the body into openness. Take your shoulders and roll them up towards your ears. Then, roll them back and let them drop completely. Feel your collarbones widen and your heart space physically open up. This isn’t about puffing out your chest; it’s a structural opening. This single move sends a powerful safety signal to your nervous system, telling it, “I’m open and I’m not under threat.” - Step Three: The Aligned Channel
Now, bring your awareness to your jaw and consciously unclench it. Let your tongue rest, falling away from the roof of your mouth. Lift your chin slightly. Imagine a cord of golden light gently pulling you up from the crown of your head, elongating your spine. Your solar plexus is centered, your heart is open, and your throat and crown are now aligned. This is the physical geometry of confidence. - Step Four: The Anchor
Finally, let’s anchor it all in. Holding this Source Stance, take a Source Breath. Breathe in deeply through your nose, drawing the air down into your solar plexus so you feel your hand expand. Then, breathe out through your mouth, letting the energy move up through your open heart and out through your aligned channel. Let’s do three deep breaths together.
Breathe in, anchoring your “I am.” Breathe out, radiating your certainty up through your heart and crown.
Again, breathe in, radiating from your solar plexus, through your heart, and out through your crown.
One last time. Feel this true frequency. This is your body running a new program.
Your Body Key to Lasting Certainty
From this stance, the old thoughts of doubt like “I can’t” or “I’m not ready” begin to feel illogical. They simply don’t match the new physical data your body is sending to your brain. So remember, confidence is not a thought you have to find; it’s a posture you get to hold. The next time you feel that old program of contraction or doubt, do not fight the thought. Instead, just shift your posture.
Roll your shoulders back. Place a hand on your center. Unclench your jaw. Take your Source Breath. Command your biology back into alignment. This is embodiment. This is you remembering the certainty that you already are.
