Why The Truth About ‘Letting Go’ of What No Longer Serves You is a Self-Sabotaging Loop
The phrase, “I let go of what no longer serves me,” is what keeps this entire world in a loop. However good your intentions might be behind saying these words, they ultimately communicate one thing and one vibration to your field, which is that you choose unworthiness and that you are not good enough.
Let me explain. When you dismiss any energy by wanting to get rid of it or by “letting go” of it, whether it is a part of you, an experience, or a situation, you are ultimately communicating to it that it did not serve. Because its purpose was to serve you, it will literally go out of its way to try again until it fulfills its service. Everything is created to serve you in some way.
The Key is Hiding in Plain Sight
If you choose to move into a different vibration, you don’t dismiss the old energy; you need to flip the energy of the thing that you feel no longer serves you. Consider this, if you feel unconfident and want to let go of the unconfidence, the ultimate choice is confidence, right? But the unconfident part of you is literally so confident in its unconfidence. It has mastered that state.
If you try to let go of the unconfidence, you automatically let go of the confidence as well, because the unconfidence holds the key to the confidence. It is so confident in its state of being. It’s a bit of a tongue twister, but it is the key. That part of you already has the skill you desire, so you need to flip its energy service to operate in the way you prefer.
How to Integrate Energy Instead of Dismissing It
So, here is what you do instead. You don’t push it away; you integrate its service. You thank it for being present in your life and for reminding you what you truly choose to create. If it wasn’t here, you would not desire to create confidence, so it literally served you in the creation of that desire. Use its energy to create it.
- Thank It: Acknowledge the part of you or the energy. Thank it for showing you what you don’t want, which clarifies what you do want.
- Love It: Appreciate it for reminding you of the choices you truly choose to live by.
- Take Action: Start to take one small action towards something that will represent its key, in this case, confidence.
You Are What You Practice, Not Just What You Say
You don’t just decide to be confident. Well, you can, but only you can flip it instantly if you so choose. Only you are in charge of that kind of miracle. No one can create it for you. I’ve seen people do it, so you can do it too. But let’s be realistic, most people take time to integrate things. You become the creator of the confidence that you choose through practice.
You are what you practice and what you be in this experience, not just what you say. So if you say you let go of what no longer serves you, you’re simply saying, “I choose to be not what I am choosing.” Think about that.
True change happens through actually embodying it. If you need support with this process of integration and embodiment, you’re welcome to join some of the live events and tap into the available resources we have in our community to help you on your journey.
