That incredible ‘bliss state’ high from a spiritual awakening is an amazing experience, but what about the brutal integration ‘dip’ that often follows? It’s a common part of the journey, yet it’s rarely discussed with the honesty it deserves. The truth is, your bliss state is always here, even when it doesn’t feel like it. It’s not about chasing the high but learning to embody that unconditional love in every moment, both the peaks and the valleys.

Touching Source Consciousness
When we die or have a near-death experience, we come into very close contact with Source. We are starting a new chapter and coming into something new. From this perspective of exiting a life, we get to make a decision about what to do with any new insights we’ve gained from contacting that zero point. We could go back and resume that life exactly as it was, as if we never died. That is completely possible. Alternatively, we could start a whole new life as a baby and have a different, non-human experience. You can do whatever you want.
The same thing happens when we have one of these Kundalini moments or heightened awakening bliss state moments. We come away from that feeling super inspired, thinking, “Wow, I can do whatever I want. I can create whatever I want. I can manifest this.” We think about something, and then it manifests, and we’re amazed.
The Inevitable Integration ‘Dip’
The universe essentially says, “Great. You can do whatever you want. Now, since you’re headed in that new direction, you’re going to need to go catch and fetch every part of yourself that doesn’t buy it.” This includes every part that doesn’t believe, doesn’t know how, doesn’t think it’s possible, has contrary ideas, or is scared of doing it.
So, we go into the dip. We go into integration. The first thing that happens is we momentarily forget about the bliss state and think, “Whoa, I’m leaving the bliss state. I want to get back to it.” We end up fighting the whole process instead of simply carrying that unconditional love we experienced… the love that gave us the inspiration… and giving that same inspiration to every other part of ourselves.
Ultimately, it’s that simple. Take what you’ve been given and give it to everyone and everything else in some form, way, or shape, starting with yourself.
It’s a worthwhile experience, even if sometimes it doesn’t feel like it. And I say that because the bliss state we tap into, whatever higher state of consciousness we want to call it, is a universal force in superposition. It allows for all possibilities and believes that every single possibility is worth exploring. So, it tries them all.
Source Consciousness as an Infinite Simulation
Here’s something to stew on for a second, a way to conceptualize this for the logical brain. You’ve probably heard people talk about simulation theory. In a huge way, we are in a simulation, though probably not running on a laptop in a Sims program.
Source consciousness isn’t “doing” anything because it’s not a doing; it’s a being of which we are a part. We are the doing part. The superposition quantum field is exploring every possible position of all possible parts. That’s a simulation; it’s exploring all possibilities. Imagine a four-digit combination lock. If you run a simulation, it will iterate through all thousands of possible combinations and try them all.
An infinite simulation, however, will only ever be able to simulate 99.99999% infinitely. There will always be that 0.00001% left over, which it will be exploring further. This is why people say the universe is expanding. It has already expanded and it’s done, but there’s still more, so it’s still going. It’s infinite.
Interestingly, the word “infinite” itself doesn’t even describe infinity. The spell of the word is “in-finite,” which means a limited state. We don’t have a word that can truly describe the infinite because, by their very definitions, our words are finite.
How to Know Your Bliss State is Always Here
A friend of mine once shared a simple way to think about this. We were discussing source consciousness, or “all that is,” and he said, “To make it really simple, I just like to call it the great is-ing.” Because it just is.
It just is, and you just are. Every part of you just is, exactly as it is. When we bring that unconditionality and recognize that it’s already there, we realize something profound. You don’t actually have to do anything to bring perfect love and perfect trust to yourself. It’s not something you do; you just need to recognize that it’s already there. You are it. That other part of you that has resistance to your choice is also it.
By bringing the awareness of that into every moment, you achieve the embodiment of the Kundalini, the bliss state, or that peak moment of joy. This embodiment doesn’t feel like the peak moment anymore; it feels like something else. This process of spiritual expansion is about learning to integrate all of these parts of yourself. If you’re looking for guidance on this journey, our Ignite Your 13 Chakra Blueprint event can offer deeper insights into energy mastery and personal growth, just check the schedule for the next class.
As you begin to bring the awareness that these states are synonymous, you can live in that peak state no matter where you are… in the peak or the valley of the wave of life. You can enjoy the whole process.
Life is exhilarating. It is a journey by all means, embrace it.
To quote one of my mentors, that is all we need to do. And to do that, we don’t have to do anything but be here now, to quote that other great book by Ram Dass. Literally, the answer to it all is to be here now.
Whatever you’re here now with, whatever that feeling is, just be here now and allow yourself in that state to be part of all that is. There is the bliss. The bliss is inside every single one of those states.
