You’re Not Selling Your Time, You’re Selling Transformation

Is the ‘time for money’ model the biggest trap for coaches, healers, and creators? For many impactful professionals, this question hits close to home. It’s a system that can limit your income and, more importantly, the results your clients achieve. The fundamental truth is that you’re not selling your time, you’re selling transformation, and understanding this shift is the key to unlocking true value for everyone involved.

What is The Value of Your Work?

The only reality you can experience is the one that fits within your perceptions. With that in mind, I have two important questions for you.

Is the work that you do powerful? Does it change people’s lives? How valuable is the change it makes in people’s lives?

Most people find that last question difficult to answer. The truth is, the change you facilitate is invaluable. It’s priceless. A hundred percent.

Why You’re Not Selling Your Time, You’re Selling Transformation

Let’s introduce a small but powerful reframe. Right now, you might be exchanging the most finite, valuable resource you possess, your time, for money. When you do this, you are effectively selling to people who believe your time is what they are paying for.

But they’re not. They are paying for the results you help them get. Anyone who has mastered the vibration of money understands that we do not exchange our time for money. That is a death trap, created by the 3D institutions of this world.

Shifting to a Transformation-Based Model

The incredible value you provide to your clients might happen in one session or it could unfold over five sessions. The transformation might take three months, or it might happen in just two weeks. The duration doesn’t matter. The impact and the change they make in their life is what they are truly paying for.

What happens if you start having your clients pay for the transformation, the shift, and the benefit, instead of the number of sessions or hours? Two things will occur. First, they will get more results from every single session because the results are no longer linked to time. Second, they’ll pay you more, because money is no longer linked to time either. Instead, it’s linked to the actual, real value being delivered. Shifting this fundamental belief in your business can be a profound journey. Time and Money are Just Containers for Value

Think of it this way. Time is a container for the value to be exchanged, and money is a container for the value to be exchanged. Neither one is the value itself.

Consider when you go to the grocery store. You buy a cart full of groceries. The money you hand over is not the value. You don’t pay for how many hours you spent walking around the store. You pay for the benefit you take home with you. If you take a lot of benefit home, you pay a big bill. If you take a small amount of benefit home, you pay a small bill, regardless of how much time you spent inside.

Time is the illusion that we’ve attached value to. This makes the exchange in our businesses something that implodes on itself. It simply doesn’t work because that is not what money is for. The real currency is transformation.
