Trust is the Only Currency That Matters

In today’s digital landscape, it’s clear that trust is the only currency that matters, and I think websites and funnels are becoming useless for building it. My entire business now runs on real conversations because gaining clients who want to work with you is directly proportional to the trust you build. Does anyone else feel this significant shift away from automated systems and towards genuine human connection?

The Erosion of Trust in Digital Content

Simple words on a screen just don’t build a relationship anymore. In today’s day and age, this problem is amplified because those words can easily be written by ChatGPT. The content often feels impersonal and, frankly, fake. As a result, nobody trusts it anymore. This skepticism is growing and extends beyond just text.

Even video, once a reliable medium for connection, is being undermined. You can now make an AI-generated video of yourself that will say and do a bunch of things. It’s a scary thought, which is why I want to be clear. If you ever see my face on the internet in a video I’ve posted, it is actually me. I don’t use AI-generated videos of my own face for this very reason; authenticity is crucial.

Why Real Conversation is Where Trust is the Only Currency That Matters

So, where does that leave us? Trust is going to be built in the relationship. In truth, it always has been. The relationship is the absolute core of any successful client interaction. But specifically in today’s environment, having a genuine, two-way conversation with a client is where that trust will truly blossom. This direct engagement is the most powerful tool we have left.

The only thing that has trust is a real conversation.

Because of this, we can skip the complicated website. We can forget about the fancy funnels. We can bypass all of this other automated stuff that creates distance. Instead, we can focus our energy on what actually works and what creates real connection.

The Transformative Power of a Dozen Conversations

The key is to simply create conversations with people and develop a consistent way to have a dozen of those every single week. Imagine that for a moment. If you had a dozen conversations a week with potential clients who were genuinely interested, who might want to work with you, and who just wanted to know more about what you do, what would that do for your business?

Think about the impact. Out of those twelve meaningful interactions, how many of those people do you think would become clients? The conversion from a real conversation is infinitely higher than from a passive website visit. If you are ready to see how these kinds of dedicated conversations can transform your own business, you can submit an application to work with us and explore the possibilities.
