If you implement this one power move on a daily basis, it will fundamentally change your life. The key is to simply remember that in every moment, you have a choice. You always have a choice. This isn’t about controlling the external world, but about mastering your internal one. No matter what is happening around you, regardless of the circumstance or the situation, your power lies in your ability to choose.

You specifically have a choice in three critical areas. These are the pillars of your personal power and conscious creation.

  • You have a choice in how you feel, first and foremost.
  • You have a choice in how you think about what’s happening.
  • And you have a choice in how you respond to the situation.

How to Implement This Simple Power Move That Will Change Your Life

To make this a practical part of your life, you need to embed it as a habit. Start by asking yourself a series of simple questions every morning and continue to check in with yourself throughout the day. This consistent practice is what builds new mental pathways.

What do I choose to create here? What emotion do I choose to create? What kind of thoughts do I choose to create about this circumstance?

And then, following those internal choices, ask yourself the most important question for external results. How do I choose to respond, and what kind of response will actually bring me the results that I truly desire? Start embedding these simple questions into your mental habits. Your goal is to make it your mental default to ask yourself these questions on a regular basis. When you do, just watch what begins to change in your reality.

The Neurological Benefit of Conscious Choice

So, what happens on a deeper level when you practice this? Your brain begins to get used to coming up with aligned thoughts, feelings, and perceptions that directly relate towards your goals. You are actively training your mind to work for you, not against you. Consequently, this makes it significantly easier when you’re under pressure to respond in a way that moves you forward. It strengthens your ability to remain centered and intentional, rather than reactive. Furthermore, it makes it much easier to avoid getting sucked into another one of those old, disempowering loops that have held you back in the past.
