Have you ever wondered why you stay stuck in cycles of self-sabotage? My perspective is that the problem isn’t your pattern, it’s how you fight it. This might sound backward, but understanding this is the key to actually breaking free from the loops that hold you back. Instead of trying to ‘fix’ yourself, there’s a more effective way to create lasting change.

Why ‘Fixing’ Your Patterns Keeps You Stuck
Most people are stuck in familiar cycles. These often manifest as procrastination, self-sabotage, recurring emotional triggers, or a frustrating pattern of starting and stopping new habits. When we’re in this loop, the natural instinct is always to ask, “How do I fix this? How do I get rid of this? How do I finally move past this?”
However, this approach is fundamentally flawed. Every single time you try to change the pattern, you are still relating to it as something that is wrong. The moment you label something within you as wrong, you automatically move into a state of resistance.
…and resistance. That’s what keeps the pattern in place. So instead of breaking the cycle, you end up reinforcing it.
The Real Problem Isn’t Your Pattern, It’s How You Fight It
A completely different approach, which I call zero-point facilitation, removes the need to change anything at all. This method involves no fixing, no forcing, and no judgment that something “shouldn’t be here.” Instead of fighting, you simply introduce space. You create a clear, neutral space around the pattern.
When you do this, something remarkable happens. In that neutral space, the pattern suddenly doesn’t have anything to push against anymore. Without the energy of your resistance feeding it, the pattern naturally begins to reveal itself. It softens and it starts to reorganize organically.
The Shift to Effortless Transformation
This reorganization doesn’t happen because you made it happen. It happens because you finally stopped holding the pattern in place with your resistance and your struggle. That is the fundamental shift from fighting to allowing. This is where you can create real space for real transformation in the work that you do for yourself and others.
If you are ready to learn how to facilitate from this space, where change actually happens without force, we invite you to explore our training events.
