The “Next Level” Freedom Trap
Freedom is often this elusive thing. We tell ourselves, “I’ll allow myself freedom when I get to the next level. When I get to the fifty thousand a month level, when I get to the hundred thousand a month level, I’ll finally be free.” But the reality for most entrepreneurs is that actually feeling freedom is very unfamiliar. We’re used to grinding, chasing, and hustling.
We are accustomed to working long hours and putting our own desires for freedom on the back burner to build the business. While that push is useful in the early stages to lay the foundations, it creates a dangerous pattern if it continues indefinitely.
Is Your Nervous System Uncomfortable with Stillness?
If your nervous system is uncomfortable with stillness, you have a problem. If taking time off feels wrong because your mind is a million miles away thinking about the next fire you might have to put out or chasing the next client, you are caught in a cycle.
If that is the pattern that is ingrained in your nervous system, then you will be unable to hold the frequency and the resonance of actual embodied freedom.
Your business will reflect this internal state. You might scale to a hundred thousand a month or beyond, you might even do five hundred thousand or a million dollars a month, but you will still be endlessly busy, always having something that you need to do.
The Power Move for True Freedom: Shifting Your Energy
The power move that conscious entrepreneurs understand is that it is absolutely necessary to cultivate an energy of freedom, liberty, fulfillment, and inner peace. This cultivation must happen in their state of mind, in their body, and in the very frequency in which they show up.
This means acting and taking action from a place of inner stillness and peace, not from a place of hustle, grind, and a need to be busy. In the paradigm of hustling and grinding, you are telling your Consciousness, “I’m not allowed to experience freedom. I have to do.” This mindset of needing to do things keeps you stuck in a loop where you always have to be doing, and you never get to actually enjoy the freedom your business is supposed to be creating for you.
A Framework for Freedom: The 13 Chakras
This energetic shift isn’t just a concept; it can be applied as a practical framework. All energy in the universe grows in the order of the chakras. I apply this framework to everything to create a structure aligned for true freedom, both within your mind and your business.
- It starts with a container. That’s the root.
- A creation goes in the container. That’s the sacral.
- That creation gets empowered. That’s the solar plexus.
- That empowered creation gets connected. That’s the heart.
- Then that empowered, connected creation gets expressed. That’s the throat, which in business translates to marketing.
