An Unforgettable ER Incident
I was treating a female patient who was experiencing extreme distress from severe abdominal pain. I quickly went to work. I hooked up her IV and prepared the necessary medication. As I was about to administer it, she looked at me and asked, “How long will it take to work?” In the rush of the moment, I replied, “It’ll take about five minutes.” Little did I know, I had just given her a direct and powerful suggestion.
Five minutes later, I returned to check on her. Like clockwork, her body was completely relaxed, and she reported that the pain was gone. She looked at me, relieved, and said something that caught my attention.
I feel so much better. But wow, I’m really dizzy.
A Shocking Realization: The Belief That Healed Without Medicine
Her comment about dizziness prompted me to double-check the IV line, and in that instant, my heart simply dropped. I realized I had never opened the line to let the medication actually run in. The bag of pain medication was still full. It had never entered her body.
Oops. Despite my mistake, she was miraculously pain-free, yet she was also experiencing the exact side effect that the “ghost” medication would have caused. Her body didn’t seem to care that the drug was missing. Her belief was so powerful that it didn’t just stop the pain signals; it literally created the specific side effect of dizziness. This happened because she had experienced this kind of medication before and believed dizziness was part of the process.
Her body, knowing what the pain-free state felt like, matched that vibration purely through the belief that she was receiving the medicine. The physical drug was never a factor.

That single moment changed everything for me. It became crystal clear that we are not just biological machines responding to chemical inputs. There is something much deeper at play.
We have a deeper technology inside of us that is more powerful than any drug I can carry in my kit.
