The #1 Red Flag You’ll Never Succeed As An Entrepreneur

There is a huge red flag that immediately signals someone is not going to reach their goals, and it’s quite possibly the #1 red flag you’ll never succeed as an entrepreneur. This major indicator appears when people use external events as an excuse for inaction. Many wonder, is blaming mercury retrograde for lack of productivity the biggest form of spiritual bypassing in entrepreneurship? The answer is a resounding yes, and it’s a mindset that will keep you from achieving true success.

The Ultimate Excuse for Inaction

The red flag I’m talking about is when an entrepreneur says something along these lines.

“I wasn’t able to show up and do the things on my task list today or this week. I wasn’t able to show up and post the videos or work on whatever I’d promised myself I’d work on, because Mercury was in retrograde and all the energy was happening and it was just so super intense. So I just had to sit and process it all, and I wasn’t able to actually show up and do the things.”

Frankly, I don’t give a fuck if Mercury was in retro phase or what the fuck ever. This is a disempowering mindset that hands your personal responsibility over to the cosmos, ensuring you remain stagnant.

How Energetic Shifts Actually Work

As somebody that actually uses astrology sometimes and follows it, I can tell you that’s not how it works. Mercury retrograde, for example, just shakes up the energy. Its purpose is to show you where your energy is misfocused, and then it amplifies that misalignment. This energetic amplification is a tool, not an obstacle.

So, if you are already in a disempowered state, it’s going to amplify that disempowered state and knock you the fuck out. It takes your existing doubts, fears, and tendencies to procrastinate and turns up the volume. The intensity you feel isn’t a reason to retreat; it’s a powerful signal to pay attention to your internal landscape.

Why Spiritual Bypassing is The #1 Red Flag You’ll Never Succeed As An Entrepreneur

So what you need to do is show the fuck up and go even more in those seasons. These periods are not meant to be breaks from your mission. Instead, they are profound opportunities to double down on your commitment and prove to yourself that you are more powerful than any external circumstance or energetic influence.

Choosing to sit back and “process” instead of act is a form of spiritual bypassing. You are using a spiritual concept to avoid the hard, necessary work of building your dream. True spiritual empowerment is about taking radical responsibility for your life and your mission, regardless of what the planets are doing.

Your Choice: Break the Cycle or Stay Stuck

If you’re ready to show up like you’ve never showed up before, create exactly what you choose to create, and actually build the mission that you came to this planet for, then it’s time for a change. You can step up and be the badass person that you know you’re capable of being. If you are ready to become a conscious, embodied entrepreneur, you can start by exploring the Embodied Entrepreneurs Source Code Activation registration page to see how we can work together.

But if you’re not ready, and you still want to live your life on the whims of whatever the energy is doing at the moment, then be my guest. If you want to call that spiritual empowerment, keep doing that. You’ll stay stuck living the same shitty cycle that you’ve been living for the last few years, and absolutely nothing is going to change.

If you’re ready, let’s break the cycle and create something new. I’ll see you on the flip side.
