Have you ever wondered if our identity is just a set of programmed perceptions? Many of us are trying to reprogram your subconscious mind for abundance, love, or joy, but find the process incredibly difficult. This isn’t a personal failing; it’s by design. Let’s break down the ‘Matrix hack’ on our consciousness and discover how to reclaim control.

Why Is It So Hard to Reprogram Your Subconscious Mind?
You’ve probably been trying to rewire your mindsets for a while. You know that your subconscious mind dictates what you can experience in your life, and you want to wire it differently. You want to reprogram it for abundance, love, joy, or some other good thing you’d like to see in your life. Ultimately, that’s your choice. You’re the one with the keys to your subconscious mind, so you get to choose what you want to create.
But let’s talk about why it’s so difficult. There’s a little hack that the matrix deployed on most of humanity. This hack keeps people in a loop where they either don’t know they can reprogram their subconscious mind, or for those of us who do, it makes those changes incredibly difficult to stick.
The Two “Matrix Hacks” Controlling Your Consciousness
So, what are these two hacks that the Matrix has installed in your consciousness, and how do you unhack your mind to get back to the real you? The matrix deploys two fundamental programs onto humanity to keep us constrained.
- Controlling Your Perceptions: The first program gives you all of your perceptions through your parents, caregivers, media, and other groups with a vested interest in controlling what you think. They shape your initial frame of perception. The only reality you can ever experience is the one that fits within and through your perceptions.
- Equating Perception with Identity: The second program ensures you stay within the lane of the programming they’ve given you. It deploys a perceptional alignment that says changes to your perception are extremely hard and threaten your very identity.
If they can control the scope of your perceptions, then they can control what you experience. If they can control your perceptions of yourself, they can control you. If they can control your perceptions of the world, they can control how you interact with it.
The Matrix programs your perception of yourself not to see the real you, but to see your perceptions as your identity.
The Root of Self-Sabotage
This is why people identify so strongly with belief systems. If you share information that counters their belief system, they get offended and fight back. They take that differing information, which threatens their current perceptions, as a direct attack on their identity.
The Matrix aligns your perception of yourself so that you place your identity within the set of perceptions they have constrained you with. This is the ultimate trick. Now, if you go to change your own perceptions to rewrite your subconscious mind, you are threatening your own sense of self. Your consciousness will never do something that threatens its own sense of existence.
This is why when you begin to do subconscious work, something always fights back. It feels like a negative part of you, stuck in the old programming, fighting with a vengeance to stay alive. This resistance leads directly to self-sabotage. You start trying to “fix” yourself, thinking something is wrong with you, when in reality, your consciousness is just doing what it’s programmed to do.
How to Reclaim Your Power and Choose Your Reality
Here’s the kicker, the Matrix has tricked you into using your own power to shape your perceptions against yourself. You create a perceptual experience where you believe you are unable to change and that change threatens your identity. But in every moment, this is a choice.
Now that you know this, every moment going forward is a conscious choice. You are creating one of two things, a reality where you are limited and change is difficult, or a version of yourself where change is fluid and easy. Ultimately, your perceptions can always be changed fluidly and easily. Always.
However, if your perception is aligned with the idea that changing perceptions is hard, the very fluidity of your mind creates a gridlock with itself. It will resist change indefinitely.
The Way Out Is to Go Back to the Beginning
But there is a way out. You can go back down the line of how your consciousness got to this place. We can rewind the tape to the beginning, getting back to who you were before all these perceptional alignments were formed, before the matrix put this programming into your subconscious mind as a child.
We can get back to the original you. When we do that, you can begin to make choices to update your perceptions and your subconscious programming from a different state, a state beyond the programming where the fluidity of self-adaptation is available again. From that place, you can update any subconscious program quickly and easily, as simply as one thought, one breath, one choice.
My perception is my choice.
I want you to really anchor this into your body. Declare it. My perception is my choice. Call your power back, because your perception is the only thing you have 100% autonomy over the moment you choose to. So, choose what you are creating through the frame of your perception and answer the question, what do I choose to create?
If you’d like help rewiring the supercomputer we call the subconscious mind and embodying that original blueprint, the you that existed before this world told you who and what you had to be, you can dive deeper with us. If you’re ready to embody that in your chakra system and reset all the distortions to your energy, we explore this through the 13 chakra system.
