Has anyone else realized that burnout is just the spiritual exhaustion of trying to ‘force the mirror to change its reflection’? Most entrepreneurs think that burnout comes from working too hard. They believe the solution is a better morning routine, a new productivity hack, or another vacation they don’t have time for. But the truth is that burnout isn’t what you think it is; it has almost nothing to do with how hard you’re working.

Why Burnout Isn’t What You Think It Is
Burnout is the crippling exhaustion that comes from trying to change the world out there without realizing that the world you’re experiencing is just a reflection of what’s going on in here. If you feel that constant friction, that soul-crushing exhaustion, it’s because you’re spending most of your life trying to force a mirror to change its reflection.
Imagine standing in front of a mirror and you don’t like your hair, so you start scrubbing the mirror, you’re yelling at the mirror, trying to force the reflection’s hair to change.
It’s insane, right? And I know I’ve got great hair. Yet, that’s exactly what we do when it comes to our business, our relationships, and our life. We try to change our bank account by fighting with the numbers. We try to fix our relationship by fighting with the other person. We try to force our business to grow by wrestling with external circumstances or grinding harder. This is the source of most frustration, overwhelm, or burnout.
Your External Reality Is Only Feedback
The core principle that you have to understand is that your external reality is feedback. It’s a printout. It’s a perfect, non-judgmental reflection of your internal state of being, which is comprised of your:
- Dominant thoughts
- Core beliefs
- Energetic frequency
That feeling of hollow success, where you’ve ticked all the boxes and achieved all the goals but still feel like an empty imposter, comes from spending years meticulously polishing that mirror while completely ignoring the person standing in front of it’ you.
How to Stop Fighting the Reflection
The burnout disappears and is replaced by a state of flow the moment you stop fighting the reflection. The moment you pull your energy back from out there and begin to consciously architect your inner world, everything on the outside has to change. When you do that, you become the cause rather than the effect. You’re no longer reacting to life; you’re creating it.
If you haven’t seen me before, my name’s Aarun and I help people heal and grow by mapping out their reality creation process. My work enables them to embody a complete consciousness shift to create the life and business that they truly love, so that we can create shifts both in the internal world and see them reflected in the mirror that is reality.
If you’re ready to stop fighting the mirror and learn how to become the master of your inner world that creates everything you experience, I teach an in-depth live class that dives deep into the mechanics of your inner reality creation process. You can check the schedule for the next class and grab your seat to learn more about how to Ignite Your 13 Chakra Blueprint. It’s time to stop polishing the reflection and become the person you desire to be right here, right now.
