This is where the concept of a pattern interrupt comes in. A pattern interrupt is exactly what it sounds like. It is a simple action or thought that breaks the automatic cycle and the unconscious way you typically think, feel, and respond. That’s where things can truly begin to open, and that’s where forward movement happens. However, sometimes you can’t do that from inside the pattern alone. You need to introduce something unexpected from the outside.

Challenge yourself today. Just go do something that wasn’t planned. It doesn’t have to be big, but it does need to be unexpected. These small, spontaneous actions send a powerful signal to the universe that you are ready for a shift and open to creating new opportunities. It’s incredible what it does for your energy. These “nugget” and micro-shifts can completely redirect your timelines.
Here are a few fun and simple ideas to get you started:
- Go take a swim in the middle of the night.
- Walk backwards for no reason at all.
- Put on your favorite song and just dance.
- Go to a different coffee shop than you usually go to.
