The Three-Legged Stool of a Successful Business
Building a sustainable and impactful business is like building a three-legged stool. If you miss any one of these components, the whole thing falls. Trying to substitute a leg makes the entire structure unstable. Your mission and purpose are meant to be stable, with the right fuel and structure to support what you’re here to do. The three steps are straightforward, but their execution is what matters.
- Create Something of Value. You probably already have this. It’s the heart of your work as a coach or healer. You can check this one off the list.
- Communicate Your Value. This is the step that requires you to be seen and heard. It is where most conscious entrepreneurs get stuck.
- Exchange Your Value. This is the final step that sustains the entire structure, allowing you to continue scaling your mission and impact.
Why Most Coaches & Healers Get Stuck on Step 2 of Business
Where most coaches and healers get stuck is they either skip step number two or they struggle with it and then run away from it. This step is about your ability to communicate your value to the people who need it in a way that allows them to take action. It is a profound inner journey that forces you to grow.
Step number two will make you face your fears. It will make you confront every limiting belief. It will make you question your resolve. It will test your conviction. It will test your confidence. It will bring up the fear of being seen. It will bring up every past trauma.
Successfully navigating this step means no more hiding. It means getting bold, speaking your truth, and using the language of the people you’re here to serve. To do this, you have to get to know those people. You must understand them, work with them, and be open and connected. You have to use your voice.
If you miss this step, hide from it, or try to have someone else do it for you, your mission will be as if it does not exist. This isn’t because your mission lacks worth or value, but because the people it’s meant to serve will not be able to see you, hear you, or engage with you.
Step 3: The Sustaining Exchange of Value
Step number three is to exchange the value that you’re providing in a way that sustains the entire structure. This allows you to continue to scale your mission, scale your impact, and change more lives. It empowers you to live a fulfilling life while you do it. If you miss this step, the whole thing crumbles and it cannot stand on its own.
Build on Your Authentic Soul Blueprint, Not Someone Else’s
To truly succeed, you cannot build these three components on someone else’s foundation or ideas. You have to build them on your blueprint, the blueprint of who you are.
