Many of us believe that the cause-and-effect of emotions and life circumstances are a one-way street, but I think we have it completely backwards. The truth is, your emotions create your reality, not the other way around. We don’t need a specific reason to feel anything, yet we often demand one, trapping ourselves in cycles we don’t understand.

Why We Demand a Reason to Feel
You don’t need a reason to feel anything. Most of the time, we treat our emotions like an unwanted guest knocking on our doorstep. Let’s say anger or sadness shows up, and when we open the door, our first reaction is, “Why are you here? You better have a damn good reason to be here.”
Through this process, we’ve conditioned our own emotions to show up with a very good reason to be there. So, sadness arrives with a whole story about why you’re sad, and that story is the circumstances in your life. The emotions you don’t know how to feel, the ones you don’t allow yourself to feel, actually go out and manifest circumstances in your life.
They do this so that when they show up in your heart for you to feel, they have a valid, justifiable reason to be there. We justify our emotions this way, but this leaves us with very little emotional freedom and a life that traps us in one loop after another. We are constantly pushing away the things that we call “bad emotions.”
How Your Emotions Create Your Reality, Not The Other Way Around
We label our feelings, saying, “This emotion is bad, this emotion is good. I want this one, I don’t want that one.” Then, we try to banish the circumstances from our life that we believe create those unwanted emotions. We think that circumstances create emotions, which is completely backwards.
Your circumstances aren’t what makes you feel a certain way. It is what allows you to feel the emotions that you’ve been avoiding feeling.
We even say this in our everyday language without realizing it. For example, “I feel sad because this disappointing thing happened.” Let’s break down the spell in this word. Let’s look at the word “be cause.” It’s two words, Be. Cause. If we break this down, we have sadness, which is to be the cause of the disappointing circumstance.
The English language is filled with spells that are backwards so that you don’t catch exactly how they’re working. If you can understand this, you’ll see that emotions are what drives manifestation. You’ve probably heard that if you want to manifest something, you need to feel the emotion you want to be in. Feel the joy, feel the peace, and then it can manifest in your life as an external circumstance. And that is absolutely true.
Finding Freedom by Feeling Everything
The emotion is the cause. If you refuse to feel an emotion, it will go and create really good, valid causes and then bring them to your doorstep as circumstances that force you to finally feel what you’ve been avoiding. The version of you that can feel every emotion just because it’s good to feel that emotion, whether that be happiness, joy, peace, sadness, or frustration, is the version of you that is emotionally free.
You are an energetic being, and the spell of the word emotion is energy in motion. You are all of it. When we stop isolating ourselves and labeling one half as bad and the other as good, and you just allow yourself to feel all of it, something magical happens. When you no longer require every emotion to come to your doorstep with a story justifying why it’s there, the emotion can simply be present, and you can have the story of the life that you want.
If you’re ready to create complete emotional freedom and manifest a life that you love, I’d love to support you. We have a process working with the 13 chakras to uncover your emotional soul blueprint and find the version of you that existed before this world told you who to be. If you’d like to dive deeper into this work, you can check the schedule for the next “Ignite Your 13 Chakra Blueprint” event on the registration page.
Your Life Reflects Your Freedom
Your circumstances can begin to reflect your intention and your choice. Your emotional state of being can simply be what it is. All the waves of positive and negative emotions can flow through you quicker, easier, and without the weight of consequence and circumstance. You can be free to feel good because it feels good to feel good, or to feel sad because you just want to feel sad. And your circumstances can be free to reflect that energy of freedom.
When you are ready to set yourself completely free on every level-spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically, and financially-your business, your life, and the story you’re living can transform. If you’re ready for that, I’ll see you on the flip side.
