Many spiritually-minded people avoid everyday places like the mall or the market, feeling these “3D” environments are beneath their evolved state. But what if I told you that your grocery store is a temple? I started treating Costco like a sacred space, and it changed everything. The idea that some places are ‘unspiritual’ is a trap that disconnects us from the true nature of the sacred.

The Fallacy of ‘Lesser’ Vibrations
So many spiritual people hate going to the mall, going shopping, or visiting the market because they feel like that’s some 3D thing that’s beneath their spiritual level. They believe they’re spiritually evolved up here, and that those mundane places represent a lesser vibration. But this mindset is a significant barrier to true connection.
If you think that standing in Costco is a less sacred place than standing in some giant temple, you’re not allowing yourself to connect to source.
When you hold this belief, you’re not allowing yourself to actually understand what sacred is. You are creating a separation that doesn’t truly exist.
Reclaiming the Sacred in Everyday Life
Sacred is present; sacred is everywhere. We are the sacred, and every place is as sacred as we choose to allow it to be. The key is to shift your perspective. Start going shopping at the market, considering it to be a sacred place. Start meeting everybody, considering it to be a sacred connection.
When you make this shift, you might be surprised just how meaningful a random conversation can be. You might be surprised by the depth of joy you’ll find in the most unexpected moments. It’s all sacred. It might feel weird at first, but nonetheless, it’s all part of creation.
Why Your Grocery Store Is a Temple (And Everywhere Else, Too)
The feeling of disconnection only arises when we judge and separate. It happens when we say, “This is less than, and something else is more than.” We begin to create this separation of good versus bad, and then we make those supposedly lesser experiences, like going grocery shopping, unspiritual.
Consequently, that experience becomes unfulfilling. It becomes dissatisfying. It becomes something we just rush through and get over with, and we don’t get to enjoy that part of our lives. In doing this, we are doing a disservice to ourselves. We’re robbing ourselves of the depth that we could exist in always.
How to Walk in Depth, Always
The point here is to walk in the depth, always. It is to look at everything as carrying the depth that’s already there. It is about having that conversation with the same level of passion and essence, with the same level of presence, whether you’re talking to a cashier or a guru.
When we can see every place and every activity as equally spiritual, you begin to see the magic and the depth. You begin to see the spirit with you and through you, and you begin to feel alive. This journey into profound personal growth and spiritual expansion is about seeing the sacred in all things. For those looking to deepen this connection, you can explore events like the Ignite Your 13 Chakra Blueprint, where we learn to tune into this higher state of being. Remember, whether you’re grocery shopping or walking through a temple and tuning into meditation, it’s all the same source of life.
