Relieve Third Eye Pressure & Mental Fog

Are you trying to find a way to relieve third eye pressure & mental fog? If you experience that constant, extreme pressure behind your eyes and at the crown of your head, you might assume it’s a block in your spiritual abilities. However, it’s more likely something I call ‘cognitive congestion’. Your body is quite literally stuffed up with the thoughts you haven’t processed yet.

Understanding Cognitive Congestion

If you haven’t met me yet, I’m Aela Lee, and today we’re looking at the biology behind this sensation. This feeling of pressure often mirrors sinus congestion. Your sinuses are air-filled cavities, both biologically and energetically. In many spiritual traditions, air represents intellect and thought. Therefore, when these cavities fill with fluid and pressure, it indicates you are metaphorically drowning your intellect in unprocessed emotion. This creates a mental backlog.

Why You Feel Pressure at the Third Eye and Crown

You’re feeling this pressure specifically behind your eyes, or your third eye, because you are trying to force a vision or an answer using logic rather than trusting your intuition. You are straining to see the outcome, which mentally creates this physical tension. You feel it at the crown because you are trying to figure it all out from the top down, creating a traffic jam of mental energy that has nowhere to go.

Often, this specific pressure also signals a hidden irritation with someone or a situation that’s right under your nose, something you aren’t expressing. It could also represent unshed tears that have turned into energetic stagnation. The good news is that you aren’t losing your abilities. Your spiritual vision is just clouded by the fog of overthinking.

How to Relieve Third Eye Pressure & Mental Fog

So, here is a body-based key you can use to physically clear the fog. I call this simple technique the Tap of Clarity. Let’s walk through the steps together.

The Tapping Sequence

  1. Using your index fingers, gently tap right on the points next to your nostrils.
  2. Next, move up and tap on the bridge of your nose.
  3. Finally, continue tapping across your eyebrows.

Journal Prompts for Clarity

As you tap, gently ask yourself these important questions. Don’t force an answer, just allow whatever comes up to surface.

  • What irritation am I refusing to acknowledge?
  • What truth is right under my nose that I don’t want to see?
  • What am I trying to force into a logical box?

Once you name what’s causing the pressure, just exhale fully and say, “I choose to set down the need to figure it all out. I choose clarity.” When you clear the mental backlog, your innate abilities will come back online. Remember, you can never truly lose your abilities.

Deeper Support for Overthinking

Another thing that is very helpful for overthinking is Light Language. If you don’t know what that is, you can go check out the pinned video in my profile where I explain it all.

Ultimately, this pattern of cognitive congestion often comes down to basic self-sabotage. If you feel you need deeper support to break these kinds of repeating cycles, come and join some of the live events that we have for cycle breakers. You can find more details and check the schedule for our next training. I hope to see you there.
