Has anyone else experienced the physical manifestation of emotional bitterness, specifically related to the gallbladder or the solar plexus chakra? It’s a crucial question to consider, because if we aren’t careful, we might just let our bitterness harden into something much more tangible. Bitterness isn’t just a fleeting emotion; if you hold onto it long enough, it can literally turn into a physical stone within your body.

The Heavy Energy of Your Gallbladder
Let’s talk about the heavy energy of your gallbladder. Biologically, the gallbladder stores bile, a fluid produced by the liver to break down fats. As its name implies, bile is bitter; it is the body’s natural detergent. But what is truly fascinating is that energy often follows biology. Energetically, the gallbladder is the guardian of the solar plexus chakra, which is your center of personal power and decisive action.
When you feel resentment, that bitter feeling of being treated unfairly or of having your power taken away, you are essentially swallowing your anger. When this happens, your energetic bile stops flowing freely. It stagnates and becomes stuck.
How Stagnant Emotions Become Physical Stones
So, what happens to stagnant bile? It crystallizes. It hardens into gallstones. These stones are not just random biological occurrences; they are the physical calcification of every time you said, “it’s fine,” when it absolutely wasn’t. They represent the hardened lumps of your unexpressed boundaries and unspoken truths.
Your body creates a stonewall because you didn’t create a verbal, actionable one.
An Exercise so You Don’t Let Your Bitterness Harden
To prevent this, we need to get that stagnant energy moving again. Here is a simple but powerful exercise you can do right now to help flush out that old, bitter resentment. Follow these steps carefully.
- Place your hands on your right side, just under your ribcage where your gallbladder is located.
- Inhale deeply. As you breathe in, imagine you are gathering all of that old, bitter resentment into a single point of energy.
- As you exhale, make a sharp, percussive “Ha!” sound, almost like a martial arts strike.
- Repeat this process at least five times. I know it might feel a little funny at first, but just go ahead and have fun with it. Let it out with force like, “Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!”
With this practice, you are using both sound and the pressure from your diaphragm to mechanically and energetically flush the stagnation from your system. You are powerfully declaring, “I choose to reclaim my power. I am ready.”
It is vital that you don’t let your emotions harden into physical ailments. If you need more support in releasing these kinds of repeating patterns, we host live events for cycle breakers every single week.
