For many entrepreneurs, the answer seems obvious, but taking on misaligned customers can lead to a significant energetic cost of the wrong clients. When you accept a client just to make a sale, you risk wrecking the entire energetic foundation of your business.

Understanding the Energetic Cost of the Wrong Clients

One of the biggest traps that entrepreneurs fall into is signing a client just because they need the money. This single act completely wrecks the energetics of your business. To protect your venture, you must learn to say no to potential clients who are not a perfect fit.

If a client isn’t 100% in alignment with you or if they’re not in 100% integrity with you, you need to say no. Your impact and your level of success directly depend on your vibrational integrity. If you are taking clients simply because you need the money rather than out of absolute resonance, you are operating from a dysregulated nervous system. Consequently, you are dysregulating the flow of energetics in your business.

How Energetic Misalignment Shows Up

What does this look like in practice? Here are a couple of clear examples of falling out of resonance.

  • Lowering Your Price: If you’re lowering your price below your normal amount just to close a deal, you’re out of resonance with your own value.
  • Accepting Indecisive Clients: If you take on clients who are on the fence or indecisive, you are sitting in a waiting energy and you’re allowing more of that into your field. Your business depends on decisive action, and your client’s success depends on it too.

Allowing any other energy to come into the playing field with you dishonors your clients, your business, and the integrity of your work.

The Power Move of Saying ‘No’

Make extremely clear choices about the type of energy you choose to work with, and then stick to that. If you’re speaking with a potential client and they do not fit the exact energy that you choose to work with, say no. You should politely decline the opportunity to work with them. Even if there’s a lot of money on the table, it’s okay.

There will be other opportunities. Signing a potential client that is out of resonance with you is not worth the disruption to the energetic flow in the container of your business or your own nervous system. Ground yourself, anchor yourself, and set those clear boundaries. Stick to them and learn to say no.

It is the most powerful power move you can implement in your business.

When you say no to opportunities that are not 100% in integrity with your own value, you are saying yes to yourself. Every time you say yes to an opportunity that is not 100% in integrity with your value, you are saying no to yourself. The universe simply responds and gives you more of what you put your energy into. So make sure your energy is going into exactly what you choose. Say no to everything else because that no is a yes to yourself.
