Stop Trying to Change People. Change The Projection.

We are often told that you can’t change other people, and in a way, that’s true. But what if there was a different way? This post explores a powerful theory on why we keep attracting the same difficult people and presents an empowering truth; you need to stop trying to change people and instead, change the projection. This shift in perspective reveals that this recurring pattern is actually your greatest superpower.

Understanding the Power of Your Projection

You can’t enter another person’s consciousness or mind and force them to be different. The far more important and empowering truth is that you don’t have to change other people. The version of them that you’re experiencing… that toxic dynamic, the conflict, or the loop you’re stuck in… it’s just a reflection of the story you’re projecting onto them. This story is based on your own internal programming and past shared experiences.

When you change the projection, the entire dynamic has to transform or fall away. So, if you’re stuck in a pattern of attracting the same toxic type of people, the same unsupportive crowd, or the same difficult clients, it’s not because you’re cursed. It is because you are a projector that’s locked onto a film with a title like “I’m not worthy of support” or “I always get abandoned.” The universe then has to fill in that movie with characters to play the roles.

How to Stop Trying to Change People and Change The Projection Instead

This is not about blaming the victim. This is about the ultimate act of taking your power back. As long as you believe the problem is “out there” with them, you are a victim. You are powerless and just waiting for them to change so you can finally feel better. That doesn’t feel very good, does it?

The conscious creator understands that the point of power is always, 100% of the time, within. You look at a difficult relationship and instead of trying to change the other person, you ask these powerful questions:

  • What is this reflecting in me?
  • What story am I telling myself that is inviting this experience again and again?
  • What part of myself is being mirrored back to me that is asking to be healed?

When you do this, you stop focusing on them. You turn the flashlight of your awareness inwards to the only thing that you have control over anyways, which is yourself.

Rewriting Your Internal Movie Script

You find the old wound or the outdated belief, the unresolved trauma from your past, that is projecting this repetitive movie script. And you don’t fight it. You integrate it. You change your internal settings and you choose a new script. It might sound like a movie called:

“I am deeply loved and respected,” or “My clients are a joy to work with,” or “I am safe and supported in all my relationships.”

As you change that internal frequency, the reflection in the mirror must change. The people in front of you will either have to shift with you to meet your new frequency, or they will effortlessly fade out of your reality. This makes space for new people and new reflections that are a match.

Become the Director of Your Life

If you’re ready to stop being a victim of your relationships, your reality, and the people around you, and you’re ready to become a conscious creator of your entire life, I want you to anchor this in. You are the complete director of your life. So, comment the word DIRECTOR below to anchor this into your subconscious.

If you’re ready to learn the practical tools to heal those loops and create shifts in the movie script that you’ve been projecting from the root of your consciousness, you may be interested in our training on this exact process.
